We want you to be happy with your purchase but understand that sometimes an item needs to be returned. Please review the return policies below and contact us with any questions.
Returns for a full refund and exchanges are accepted within 14 days from the purchase date if:
- You have proof of purchase (either a receipt or you purchased the book under your customer profile). If you do not have proof of purchase, even if you bought the book yesterday, we cannot offer you a refund or store credit.
- The book is in saleable condition (meaning the book much appear brand new -- it does not appear read, no cracks on the spine, bent pages, stains, etc.). All books returned to us need to be able to go back on the shelf to be sold at their full price. If your book has become at all damaged in the time you have had it in your posession, we cannot accept it as a return.
- The exception to this is if you discover a printing error that makes the book difficult or impossible to read.
If you are returning a non-book item, it must have all original packaing and be in saleable condition (notebooks bought wrapped in plastic must be unopened, tshirts, unworn and unwashed, totes unused, etc.)
We will not cover the cost of shipping for books or nonbook items that you return and are not responsible for items that are lost or damaged during transit. We recommend you return your items usng an insured and traceable method.
Books that were specially ordered for you or purchased off the sale cart, sold at a discount to you due to damage, or as a Blind Date with A Book are nonreturnable.
After 14 days, store credit will be offered at the store's discretion, but we will not accept returns after this point for books and formats we no longer carry.
